Caradog, an Oxford university graduate, studied piano accompaniment at the Royal College of Music, London as an Associated Board Scholar. In 2006 he won the Accompanist Prize at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. He has accompanied international soloists such as Bryn Terfel, Rebecca Evans, and Dennis O'Neill in concert and performed in major British concert halls including the Royal Albert Hall, London, and Cardiff International Arena. He is the regular accompanist for the 3 Welsh Tenors and has frequently appeared with them on Welsh television including a documentary featuring their concerts in Los Angeles.
He has worked as a repetiteur for Welsh National Opera, Cardiff international Academy of Voice and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where he has accompanied masterclasses for Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Richard Bonynge. Caradog is also a composer and arranger and some of his works and arrangements can be heard on the 3 Welsh Tenors debut album on the Sain label. Highlights in 2012 include accompanying Bryn Terfel at the Hay Festival and a gala concert at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea accompanying Rebecca Evans, Bryn Terfel and the 3 Welsh Tenors.
